An Engineering Project Coordinator works closely with the product development team and handles the daily data entry tasks within Glovia as well as general requests from the development team. These are key positions to the efficient project flow of product development. Project Coordinators have a variety of tasks to do each day. Most tasks require working from the computer primarily in Glovia. Project Coordinators need to receive and share information from other groups on a regular basis.

This is a Part Time position, working 24 hours per week.

Engineering Change (EC) coordination Review/approves all engineering change requests. May initiate ECs. Assigns change to appropriate Engineer and processes in Glovia. Understands product and build processes.
Prototype Management Work with designers to create prototype packets and coordinate with production to get prototypes built in a timely manner. Provide updates as necessary.
Process daily requests from the development team including new part requests RoHs certificates manufacturing requests purchase requests vendor part number updates and inventory requests. This may include picking up parts and delivering them as needed.
Create production packets requirement packets forecast packets and inventory commitment packets. Run BOM comparisons and create averages for initiating forecasts.
Attend product development daily stand up meetings. Provide updates to agenda and follow up on action items.
Production Support Act as conduit from production to engineering staff to address production related issues and provide solutions. Take calls investigate situation using resources such as Glovia SharePoint development sites etc. If unable to provide solution determine appropriate team member to escalate situation to. Follow up on to determine solution and communicate solution to manufacturing in a timely manner.
Provide customer service support by evaluating researching and providing appropriate direction. If unable to provide solution escalate to appropriate team member and communicate solution to customer in a timely fashion.
Work effectively with all members of the project team. Use good judgment and make effective decisions.
Suggest and contribute to process improvement efforts.
Become knowledgeable of and follow all company procedures.
Perform all other duties as required to meet customer expectations.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Operations Management or related field required.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills both verbal and written.
Savvy with using a computer and learning new software. Glovia experience preferred.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.
Background check will be conducted.
Fluent in English both written and verbal.
