Create and maintain Process Maps, Process Guidelines, Process Reference, and Work Instructions documents used by Shared Service to receive, ship, transfer, and repair products. Communicate changes as necessary.
Participate in the repair process by reviewing Engineering documentation and demonstrations.
Assist Process Techs & Engineering in the build, test and evaluation of creating Work Instructions, Design for Reparability, and taking photos of each step of the process.
Create and maintain Routings for new product and edit existing product with the direction of Manufacturing Engineers.
Coordinate outsource activities between manufacturing engineers and corporate sourcing by requesting quotes, gathering appropriate documentation and completing AVL forms.
Participate in continuous process improvement activities and assist in implementation.
Work effectively in a team-orientated environment.
Consistently complete quality work in a timely manner meeting established deadlines.
Work scheduled hours, and demonstrate flexibility to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet customer and/or department expectations.

High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
Ability to interpret Engineering drawings and technical instructions required.
Ability to write clear and professional communication required.
Microsoft Office experience required plus ability to learn Daktronics-specific software such as Glovia and SharePoint.
Daktronics manufacturing or customer service experience preferred.
Physical requirements include the ability to:
distinguish and identify wire and paint colors;
read fine print with or without the use of corrective lenses
work with odors (solder/paint/solvent/manufacturing odor);
lift and carry heavy (up to 50 lbs) and/or awkward items
stand or sit for the full shift
have full range of motion (including but not limited to bending and lifting) required to perform the job functions
maintain steady hand-eye coordination
reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions
Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
