FINANCIAL PROGRAM ASSISTANT – UNIVERSITY HOUSING

Salary Range CG GH: $15.00 – $20.83/hour
12 months, 100% time
Job Responsibilities: Serve as a quality control manager for Housing & Residential life financial accounts, budget development and oversight; and personnel processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of: General accounting procedures and practices; personnel practices; budget development; computer software applications and systems (Microsoft Office).
Ability to: Prepare and present accurate and concise financial reports; provide quality customer service; exercise patience in teaching and working with staff; adapt and think outside normal paths to acquire information and answers; train departmental staff in related policies and procedures; maintain accurate inventory of technology equipment and software and property including vehicles; prepare and process invoices, journal vouchers, and purchase orders; interpret, apply and explain policies and procedures; prioritize work to meet competing deadlines; and communicate clearly and concisely.
Comments: Proficiency with large data management software and Excel is needed. Exceptional accounting, customer service and organizational skills are required. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check.
